As mentioned, at Redwing Financial, we seek to hire investors on behalf of our clients through the use of actively managed mutual funds.  Considerable time is spent personally interviewing those managers who are entrusted with the hard-earned dollars of our clients.  It is our goal to ensure that those managers selected for inclusion in our investment roster subscribe to a clear and unwavering investment philosophy which remains consistent over time, are able to explain the reasons for their historical success under a given set of market and economic conditions, and are willing to outline the rationale for their specific buy/sell discipline.

Our research process is ongoing, as it is our goal to always be familiar with new, as well as long-established talent in the investment industry.  We call upon long-standing relationships with industry partners to provide additional resources and changes in material information - such as shifts in management teams, tax considerations, or even the closure of a fund to new trades - to keep our due diligence process fresh and up-to-date.

While our research begins at the investor/manager level, it carries into the markets as well.  We strive to assess on an ongoing basis overall U.S. and world economic conditions and to delve into which types of investment philosophies best suit the current and forecasted market reactions to those economic factors.
