As much as we try to eat right and maintain a healthy lifestyle, it often happens that those efforts go unrewarded and issues arise with our general health and well-being.  In addition, many individuals are born with or develop chronic health conditions that are incapable of being cured, and which require a lifetime of specialized care, which may include in-patient treatment, ongoing pharmaceutical needs, and even certain equipment aimed at providing reasonable modes of managing the tasks of daily living.  In these cases, costs often arise suddenly and in some cases, carry an extremely high price tag, and as such, planning becomes an immediate necessity.  Burying your head in the sand because things are overwhelming is a reasonable desire; however, one that will generally have a negative affect on your psyche as well as your finances.  This plan program is designed around your specific needs - whether those needs are ultimately for yourself, your child, or even your parent.

Health care financial planning will generally occur over three meetings; additional meetings may incur additional charges.  Services may include, but not be limited to:

Initial consultation

Discussion of health care costs and needs - both current as well as future/ongoing

Discussion of insurance coverage (health, prescription, long term care), options and how to supplement

Assessment of household cash flow and development of workable budget

Review of outstanding bills/creation of paydown strategy/coordination of payment plans

Impact study on how health care costs will affect future financial and lifestyle goals

Discussion on when to involve other family members or trusted friend on decision-making process

Discussions on how to stay mentally and emotionally healthy through acute or chronic health issues
